SHEFACTOR: Why Now?
Guest post by Tori Ganahl
Equality. We’re so close, yet so far away. We’ve moved forward by leaps and bounds, but there’s still so much work to be done. And yet, it begins with us women, coming together in unity and empowerment. And that’s where SheFactor comes in.
Our goal? To start with the individual woman. What are her values? Goals? Aspirations? What’s her Silhouette? And how is she going to leave her mark on the world? We have to know what our intentions are as an individual contributor to society before we can add value to the conversation around equality. Just as you can’t love someone else until you love yourself, you can’t make the world a better place without focusing on improving yourself first.
Then, community follows. During your journey into She, we want to offer you a way to surround yourself with a community of women who can support, motivate and push one another. These communities will be offered all around the country – cities, colleges, and businesses.
Next, let’s imagine what it would take to give you the tools to be confident and successful leaders. What if we offered training, incentives for reaching your personal goals, and events where you can learn, socialize and inspire one another? Imagine if we worked together to empower one another to achieve our deepest dreams and goals? What if we gave you the opportunity, guidance and mentorship to direct your own lives – to become CEOs, Presidents and Change-Makers? What if we all raised our daughters with this same strength and bred a generation of girls who believed success was the only option?
That’s our dream.
To give all women the opportunity to launch their lives with intention and purpose.
To build and live authentic, empowered and most importantly, joyful lives.
To create a world where women feel like they can be successful because of their hard-earned work.
The time is now. Our world needs women to succeed. And it all starts with you and I and every woman deciding that it’s our time to show the world that “woman” is not what defines us, but what empowers us and brings us together to make the world a better place.
